30 day memorial

30 day memorial

This "haskara" signifying the 30 days had passed. We started at the grave and the second Amir's sisters Lilach and Lior started to sing for amir, the heaven's opened up and it started raining. We moved over to the kibbutz museum where close family and friends heard Michael play the cello and Lilach and Lior again sang. followed by a tasty lunch. It was very moving and not a lot of dry eyes.

After the ceremony, many people went through the museum. Just a few weeks before he died, Amir took the boys through it as well.

After the lunch, Alon took Dean to put a stone signifying a blessing on Amir's grave. Hard to type the word grave.

The sunset on a beautiful sky

The sunset on a beautiful sky

As I drove home with the kids, Dean pointed out a thick, bright beautiful rainbow. Then a huge flock of birds flew past it. I was driving so couldnt take a picture. I felt Amir all through me and smiling at us.
